My little man just devoured these with a glass of almond milk and I’m feeling awfully grateful for healthy, delicious food. Enjoy these for a great snack anytime of day, great for school lunches and on the run in your purse or man-bag. Yum.
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup applesauce
- 1/4 cup of nut butter
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/16 tsp salt
- 3 tbsp of dark chocolate (i like buying the 85% bars and chopping them up)
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Mix the applesauce and the nut butter, then add all other ingredients and mix. I used a coffee bean scoop to create the small cookies. Grease the cookie sheet (I like coconut spray or butter) and bake for 12-15 minutes.
